The UK Government has launched a public consultation on the future of fireworks and we want to encourage as many people as possible to have their say.![]()

Fireworks are an important part of many celebrations, but many people have also shared concerns about the impact they can have on vulnerable people, pets, livestock, wildlife and local communities.![]()

The consultation is seeking views on proposals including:![]()
🎆 Restricting the loudest fireworks so they are only available for professional displays![]()
🎆 Banning certain higher-risk pyrotechnic products![]()
🎆 Reviewing regulations for lower-risk fireworks and pyrotechnics![]()

🦷 Snow’s dental journey this week… 🐾![]()

We’ll be looking after Snow this weekend, after quite a week, bless him 🥺![]()
While giving his teeth a thorough clean, we noticed that one of his teeth was wobbly. We flagged it with his vets at his annual check-up, and sadly, it turned out that the tooth had been injured and needed to be removed.![]()
But that wasn’t the end of it… the injury had also caused an infection in the tooth next to it, which needed removing too 😔![]()
We'd also noticed that one of his bottom front teeth looked like it had chipped sideways, so we mentioned that to the vet too. Unfortunately, that needed attention as well. And then we discovered that both of his top front teeth had also been injured! 😭![]()
Poor Snow! 💔 But better to address it early, rather than leave it and cause more pain or problems later in life.![]()
This is exactly why we feel dental care is about so much more than just having nice, clean teeth. Regularly looking inside your dog's mouth gives us the opportunity to notice changes that might otherwise go unnoticed and, importantly, flag anything concerning with your vet.![]()
