  2. What are healing crystals?
    Crystals are incredibly versatile. They can be used in a wide range of ways to improve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. They can be placed around the home to cleanse the aura and lift the energies, or they can be used in a crystal grid for channelling information. Crystals can be used for meditation by holding them or for clarity of dreams by placing them under the pillow at night. They also can be placed on specific areas of the body for healing and re-aligning the auric field.

    The measure of how effective crystals are should not be gauged by the experience of a single session. On some days we may be more sensitive to processes than others. It’s best to have short regular sessions than to try and “fix” everything at once. Over time we should begin to notice and improvement in the general wellbeing of our dogs with a sense of feeling more settled and balanced in.

  3. How does PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy help your pets live longer and happier?
    The increasing amount of clinical evidence from all around the world supports the fact that PEMF therapy is beneficial for use in both humans and animals in alleviating pain and discomfort, but also increasing energy levels by promoting better circulation and cellular function. PEMF technology products apply non-invasive frequencies into the pets body which enhances the body’s natural corresponding frequencies. It is used to treat post-operative pain, edema, arthritis including osteoarthritis, anxiety, depression, chronic wounds and many other conditions. It can be used alongside other treatments or medications, also making it a versatile option for senior dogs with complex health issues.

    What types of pain can pets have?
    Acute Pain: Sudden and often the result of injury, surgery, or trauma;
    Chronic Pain: Long-lasting and associated with conditions like arthritis;
    Inflammatory Pain: Arises from inflammation, in conditions such as arthritis;
    Neuropathic Pain: Involves the nervous system, often due to nerve damage;
    Visceral Pain: Originates from internal organs, seen in conditions like pancreatitis;
    Musculoskeletal Pain: Related to muscles and bones, common in arthritis or fractures;
    Surgical Pain: Acute pain following surgical procedures;
    Dental Pain: Resulting from oral issues like decay or gum disease;
    Cancer-Related Pain: Arises from tumors or treatments such as surgery or chemotherapy.

    What can PEMF do?
    Analgesic Effects: PEMF may have analgesic (pain-relieving) effects by modulating the perception of pain signals in the nervous system. This could be particularly beneficial for pets experiencing chronic pain;
    Enhanced Cellular Repair: PEMF is thought to stimulate cellular repair processes. This can be beneficial for pets recovering from injuries or surgeries, promoting faster healing and potentially reducing pain;
    Anti-Inflammatory Effects: PEMF therapy may help reduce inflammation in tissues. By decreasing inflammation, it could alleviate pain associated with inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis or injuries;
    Muscle Relaxation: PEMF therapy may help relax muscles, reducing tension and discomfort. This can be especially useful for pets with musculoskeletal issues or conditions leading to muscle spasms.

  4. How does heat therapy work?
    Heat can be used to warm up joints and muscles before activity and when joints appear to be stiff and sore. Heat causes blood vessels to dilate and get oxygen to the area to aid with soft tissue health. Warmth stimulates nerve receptors in the skin reducing pain signals to the brain. In addition, warmth increases the pliability of soft tissues improving joint flexibility and adding gentle movement to the joint can help with joint lubrication.

    How does cold therapy work?
    Applying cold therapy can help reduce blood flow, thus decreasing inflammation, swelling and pain. Cold therapy is most often used following surgery, but is also useful for acute arthritis flares and reducing pain and inflammation after exercise.

  5. What are Posture wraps and how can they help you pets?
    Posture wraps can help reduce anxiety in dogs during stressful times such as firework season or trips to the vet. Posture wraps are being used around the world to bring an animals awareness to their body and away from the source of the fear. The sense of security given by the wrap also brings confidence, allowing them to release habitual responses and behavioural patterns, allowing them to observe the world around them and respond rather than react to stimuli. A full wrap can help dogs with hip dysplasia and general stiffness.

    Posture wraps can help with:
    Firework fright
    Thunder
    Sound sensitivity
    Nervousness
    Hyperactivity
    Panic
    Travel sickness
    Stiff or arthritic dogs
